I have a lot of different interests, which is reflected in what I do for a living. I own a retail store, Brie's Gift Gallery, with my mother where we offer handcrafted items by local artists (including us) in addition to vintage home accessories.  The store doubles as a showroom for my parents' business, Apple Annie Awnings, where they offer motorized retractable awnings, screened cabanas, piers and boat lifts.

I turn clients' unwanted possessions into cash by consigning them to eBay, our store or by conducting an estate sale.  I am a full-time eBay seller and Trading Assistant and have earned eBay's Top Rated Seller status, which has very strict qualifications.

I design jewelry with my mother under the company name Windy City Jewelry.  Our jewelry features vintage glass beads and crystals and many of the pieces have vintage or antique jewelry incorporated such as earrings, brooches or dress clips.

I sell vintage costume jewelry and vintage sterling silver jewelry at area antique markets and a special selection of handcrafted items from our artists' group, Flower Girls Gifts, at art shows in the summer and holiday markets in the fall and winter.

This year I'm focusing on building online stores with our handcrafted items.  Products from our store are available on Etsy, and after our Etsy shop is built up, I will turn my attention to creating an online store at 1000 Markets for our jewelry.

I was a computer programmer in my former life and do the web design for all of my sites in addition to creating and maintaining sites for clients.
